BRIDES FOR HAITI!   Accepting wedding dresses  and prom gowns, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Barnesville Maryland sells donated dresses at consignment shops to raise money to help its twin parish  St. Joseph's in Carcasse, Haiti. Carcasse is located in a very remote and mountainous area of Haiti.  St. Mary's helped bring the first medical doctor to Carcasse, built the first-ever school building in Carcasse and  brought the first internet-satellite access. Do you want a military bride to have the joy of wearing your gown on her wedding day?

BRIDES ACROSS AMERICA  located in North Andover Massachusetts helps US military brides across the nation by giving them free wedding gowns.  Many military brides who could not afford a beautiful gown have been able to have one through this wonderful charity. BRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER  is now based in the Sarasota Florida area! Brides wishing to donate their dresses to this very special charity now have the option of bringing their gowns to one of this charity's many bridal gown sales road shows or simply  mailing it to Sarasota. Do you want a bride who can't afford a wedding dress to wear your bridal gown?

ST. ANTHONY'S BRIDAL, in Bethesda Maryland helps low  income brides achieve the wedding of their dreams.  Wedding gowns are made available for free use to lower income brides. St. Anthony's also lends out for free use a variety of reception items and decorations. Gowns are also sold to higher income brides at the flat rate of $150 each to help pay the Center's rent and operating expenses. WISH UPON A WEDDING  helps couples facing terminal illnesses and serious challenges to enjoy their dream wedding or vow renewal.  The charity  website says it best when it says that at this charity they   "celebrate the courage, determination and spirit of couples in love during their most challenging times. Do you want your gown to go to a local Goodwill or thrift store?

GOODWILL accepts donations of wedding gowns at their many locations nationwide. Local thrift stores also may be accepting such donations.
